Why Anantara Law

What shapes our approach

Deep Pension Law Knowledge

Our practice is focused on pension and retirement entitlement matters. That focus means we understand the particular procedural landscape — Thai Social Security rules, cross-border coordination, and administrative appeal pathways — rather than working across unrelated areas.

A Measured, Unhurried Process

Pension proceedings move at their own pace. We match that pace, taking time to explain each stage, gather the right documentation, and prepare properly rather than moving clients through a rushed process that creates anxiety without adding value.

Complete Confidentiality

Financial and personal records disclosed during a pension matter receive the same respect as any privileged legal communication. We maintain strict internal protocols around document handling and never share client information beyond what the work requires.

Cross-Jurisdictional Capability

Many clients have pension entitlements spanning more than one country. We coordinate with overseas legal correspondents and have worked alongside institutions in several jurisdictions, giving us the context to map a complete picture of your position.

Clear, Accessible Communication

Legal proceedings can feel opaque. We write and speak in language our clients can follow, confirm every significant step in writing, and are accessible by phone and email at reasonable hours without requiring appointments simply to ask a quick question.

Transparent, Structured Fees

Each service carries a clear fixed or capped fee agreed before work begins. We do not bill hourly for every exchange, and we do not add charges without discussion. Clients know what they are committing to before they sign any engagement letter.

Begin Here

Is a pension matter weighing on you?

A first conversation costs nothing and carries no obligation. We can often tell you within a short call whether and how we might help — and if the matter falls outside our scope, we will say so plainly and point you toward someone better placed.

Questions

Things people often ask us

What does a pension matter typically involve in Thailand? +

Pension matters in Thailand may involve disputes with the Social Security Office about contribution periods, benefit calculations, or eligibility; appeals against adverse decisions by retirement fund administrators; or the complex coordination of entitlements held across Thai and foreign institutions. Each situation is different, which is why we begin with a records review before advising on next steps.

How long does a pension proceedings typically take? +

Timelines vary considerably depending on the nature of the matter and the authority involved. An administrative reconciliation can be completed within a few weeks. Pre-hearing preparation typically runs over one to three months. Full representation through trial and appeal can extend over a year or more if proceedings are contested. We give realistic estimates at the outset and update clients as things develop.

Can you assist if part of my pension is held outside Thailand? +

Yes. We regularly work with clients whose retirement funds span more than one country. For overseas entitlements we coordinate with legal correspondents where needed and can assist with documentation, translation, and the coordination of records across systems. We will be candid about the limits of what we can do directly and when a referral to a specialist in another jurisdiction makes sense.

How are fees structured? +

Each service has a fixed or capped fee that is agreed before any work begins. The Records Reconciliation is ฿2,400. The Pre-Hearing Strategy Engagement is ฿9,200. The Comprehensive Pension Defense mandate is ฿10,500 as a base engagement fee; any additional scope is discussed and agreed in writing before it proceeds. We do not add charges without prior conversation.

How do I begin? +

Use the contact form on this page or call us directly. We will arrange a short conversation — usually by phone — to understand your situation. If we are well-placed to assist, we will outline the appropriate engagement and send a clear letter setting out what is included and what it will cost. If we are not the right fit, we will say so honestly.

Is my information kept confidential? +

All information you share with us is treated as privileged. We do not share documents or details with any third party without your consent, except where disclosure is required by law or strictly necessary to conduct your matter. Our document handling practices are reviewed regularly to maintain appropriate standards.
